Duta is a social media scheduling tool. You write a post once, choose which of your connected accounts should receive it, and set a time. Duta then publishes it to all of them automatically, converting your local time correctly and telling you if any of them refused.

Three steps, and only the middle one needs you

Connect once. Write when you have something to say. After that it is not your job any more.

  1. first —

    Connect your accounts

Sign in to each platform once. One Facebook login connects every Page you administer.

  2. then —

    Write the post

Add photos or video, choose which accounts get it, and pick a time in your own timezone.

  3. that's it —

    Close the laptop

Duta publishes on schedule from its own server, and tells you if any platform refused.

Platforms Duta publishes to

Seven work today. TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Google Business Profile are built and waiting on the platforms to approve them. Where something is not supported yet, Duta refuses it with a clear message rather than posting part of it.

the honest list

What Duta does

Eight things, stated plainly. Nothing here is a plan — every one of them works today.

One post, every account

Write the post once and choose which connected accounts receive it. Duta sends it to each one separately, so a failure on one platform does not stop the others.

Scheduled to the minute

Pick a time in your own timezone. Duta stores it in UTC and checks every 60 seconds, so a post goes out within a minute of the time you set — whether or not your computer is on.

Photos, carousels and video

Attach images or video and Duta uploads them for you. Instagram carousels of up to ten images are supported, and every image can carry a description for screen readers.

Files checked before you schedule

Duta reads each file and checks it against every platform it is going to, while you are still writing. It names the rule and the actual value — "this video is 3:20, Threads accepts up to 5:00" — instead of failing hours later.

Character limits per platform

Each platform counts characters differently. Duta counts them the way each one does and shows every limit at once, so a post that fits X also reads properly on LinkedIn.

It tells you when something fails

A refused post is retried with a delay, three times. If it still will not go, Duta records the platform’s reason in plain language and notifies you rather than leaving an empty feed.

Your connections stay encrypted

The access Duta holds to each social account is encrypted before it is stored, and decrypted only at the moment a post goes out. It is never written to a log and never sent to your browser.

A record of what went out

Every published post is listed with the time it went, the accounts it reached, and a link to the live post where the platform provides one.

Questions

What is Duta?
Duta is a social media scheduling tool. You write a post once, choose which of your connected accounts should receive it, and set a time. Duta then publishes it to all of them automatically, converting your local time correctly and telling you if any of them refused.
Which social media platforms does Duta support?
Duta publishes to X, Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn, Threads, Telegram channels and Discord servers. TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Google Business Profile are built and waiting for those platforms to approve access. One Facebook login connects every Page you administer, each as a separate channel you can post to.
Does Duta need my computer to be on to publish a post?
No. Duta publishes from its own server on a schedule that runs every 60 seconds. Once a post is scheduled you can close the browser and turn the computer off.
Can Duta post video?
Yes — to Facebook Pages, Instagram Reels, Threads, X and LinkedIn. X and LinkedIn take the file in pieces rather than fetching a link, so Duta uploads it for you; if the upload runs long it carries on from where it stopped instead of starting again.
What happens if a platform rejects a post?
Duta retries three times with an increasing delay. If the post still cannot be published, it records the reason in plain language, marks that channel as failed, and notifies you. The other channels in the same post are unaffected.
How does Duta handle time zones?
You pick a time in your own timezone and Duta stores it in UTC, converting for display. This means a scheduled post is unaffected by daylight saving changes or by travelling to another country.
Can an AI agent use Duta?
Duta is built API-first: the web interface is one client of its API rather than the other way round. A documented public API and an agent skill file are planned, so an assistant can schedule posts on your behalf.
What does the name Duta mean?
Duta is a Malay and Sanskrit word meaning envoy — a messenger who acts on your behalf. It was chosen because that is what the tool does: you write once, and it carries the message.

Twenty more questions, including what Duta cannot do.

Duta is invite only while it is being built.

If that sounds like something you want, say hello.
