What Duta sends today

Duta posts text and images or a video to a Discord channel, through a webhook link you create yourself in that channel's settings.

There is no login screen and no developer account — pasting the webhook link into Duta takes about a minute.

The real limits

Read from the same adapter Duta's compose screen checks a post against — not typed out separately, so this cannot say something the product does not actually enforce.

Worth knowing

  • Posts arrive under the webhook's own name and picture, which you set inside Discord, rather than under a person's account.
  • Anyone holding the webhook link can post to that channel, so Duta encrypts it the same way it encrypts every other platform's access, and never sends it back to your browser once it is stored.

Connecting Discord

Discord does not use a login screen. You create a webhook in the channel you want to post to, and paste its link here. Posts arrive under the webhook’s name and picture, which you set in Discord.

  1. 1Open Discord and go to the server and channel you want Duta to post in
  2. 2Click the gear icon next to the channel name to open Edit Channel
  3. 3Choose Integrations, then Webhooks, then New Webhook
  4. 4Give it a name and a picture — this is what your posts will appear as
  5. 5Click Copy Webhook URL
  6. 6Paste it below
